Richard started his port health career as a Technical Assistant in 1990. He rose through the ranks and became responsible for the interpretation and implementation of EU legislation as a national expert, before leading Suffolk Coastal Port Health Authority as Port Health Manager in 2015.
In his role, Richard oversees and develops the vital port health function of the Port of Felixstowe, Harwich International Port and the Port of Ipswich. Having worked on national initiatives such as One Government at the Border, CORE and Major Ports Forum, Richard is regularly involved in advising government departments over port health.

Bradley joined Suffolk Coastal Port Health Authority (SCPHA) in 2017 as ICT Team Leader, with a degree in Business IT Management and an impressive career history that saw him based in Finland and Germany in various IT roles.
As Business Manager for SCPHA since 2019, Bradley oversees the management of the finance, ICT, business solutions and communications departments, as well as SCPHA’s Import Control Assistants. The wealth of experience Bradley has built up in the private sector has enabled him to raise SCPHA’s profile and diversify it into exciting new areas of development.
